The GOP has fought every bill that doesn’t continue to let corporations have all the freedom they want for the last fifty years. And they are still at it? The result. SLOW TO ZERO progress for average citizens for decades. People today simply can’t do what they did anymore without both parents working full time and even then their income hasn’t matched inflation. Only recently have we seen some sign of improvement thanks to leadership by Democrats.
The “freedom” to pick your insurance while allowing them to be deregulated to the point that after paying in for years, they’d cancel you for a “pre-existing condition” like being born. Ridiculous. It took the PPACA (Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, that’s right Protection) to finally put some protections into law so people were finally able to know that they were actually covered. And the extremists want it to go away.
But here’s an accomplishment of the Biden Administration:
Over 16 million households receiving lower cost or free high-speed internet through the Affordable Connectivity Program
The GOP has a goal to let the fittest survive. The rich can do what they want, and the rest of us either keep paying them or lose. That’s their idea of “freedom”. At the graves of our veterans, he called them “losers”. FOUR YEARS AGO. And yet here we are facing him and his mob, incapable of understanding that life deals differently and that makes a human no better than another. And that’s what their policies show. The rich have gotten richer exponentially while minimum wage went from a wage that could get you a life, to not enough to put food on the table. Who benefited from the tax breaks? The rich. That’s where centibillionaires came from. Tax breaks.
It’s gotta be stopped. It’s not just Trump. It’s the entire mentality.
Do not let a MAGA claim go unpunished. And if the GOP isn’t buried in November, the pedal will be to the metal. Don’t let this happen.
