If we want any shot at all of recovering from where we’re at, the Democrats must absorb the entire middle right. (It’s actually where Democrats are considering Nixon would be “leftist” now.)
The GOP (and MAGA) who don’t join the Democrats must be sealed away for at least another half a century or more back under their rocks they have been hiding since the US joined the Allies…
THEN we have a shot at real governing and at forming a true progressive party to the left of the Democrats eventually…
But it all depends on absolutely obliterating the GOP. EVERY CONTEST…
