The Court Picked Trump Over You

You were supposed to be the backstop. Instead, you picked a side — Trump’s — and snapped the safety brakes the rest of us count on. By letting him fire the officials who keep products safe and by clearing his team to push mass layoffs across the government even as cases are still in court, the Supreme Court chose power over people.

Here’s what stopped working: neutral referees. The watchdogs that protect your family now answer to one man’s politics.

Start with independence. In a 6-3 ruling, the Court said the president can remove leaders of once‑independent agencies at will — even a member of the Federal Trade Commission (the FTC) — tearing down guardrails that stood since 1935. Then it allowed Trump to fire three Democratic commissioners at the Consumer Product Safety Commission — the folks who pull dangerous toys and devices off shelves. And it lifted a lower-court block so the administration can begin mass layoffs and reorganizations at 19 agencies, including the State Department and the Social Security Administration, while legal fights continue. When safety cops fear for their jobs, bad products stay on shelves. When Social Security staff are cut, your wait time explodes. And when agency heads serve a politician instead of the public, cases that touch his friends and donors can get buried. This is capture, not checks and balances.

You do not have to be a Democrat. If you’re tired of chaos and favoritism, the only fix is to strip the party that built this pipeline of power of its grip on Congress in 2026. Fire the enablers. Vote like constitutional repair depends on it.
