They’re also pushing back on packages that swell arrests for low-level offenses instead of investing in proven prevention, treatment, and local programs that keep violence from starting. That is the difference between stunts and stewardship.

Brown now owes families straight answers and fixes that work. And the party that brands itself as “law and order” owes the country policies that actually make people safer—evidence-based prevention, not fear theater.
