Meanwhile, Donald Trump pushes a national plan to make voting harder — requiring multiple forms of ID to register and a photo ID to cast a ballot — pressuring Senate Republicans to pass it. He lacks the votes today but keeps pushing. Next term, the high court will hear a Republican bid to revive Arizona voting limits. The goal: fewer people voting and more ballots tossed. Trump claims, against evidence, that 2020 was “rigged.” Courts and even some in his party have set guardrails, but the push to shrink the electorate continues. Instead of working on your grocery bill or your kid’s school, they’re chasing wedge fights and trying to change who counts.
Count votes. Don’t game the rules.
