Judge Flags Trump Lawyers Over IRS Case. That’s Not Normal.
A federal judge said Donald Trump’s IRS lawsuit was filed for “improper purpose.” He sent Trump’s attorneys to face possible discipline over it.
Courts aren’t props.
This is a basic-competence test. You either respect the rules or you don’t. Trump’s legal team treated a guardrail like a stage. The judge had to step in.
The Supreme Court, in a 5–4 decision, rejected the Republican National Committee’s bid to stop Mississippi from counting some mail ballots that arrive after Election Day. Even there, the guardrails held.
Every stunt like this burns time and money, clogs already packed dockets, and makes it harder for regular people to get a fair day in court. It shreds trust. It tells the powerful there are no rules for them, only for you.
You don’t have to be a Democrat to see the problem. You just have to want honest, competent government.
If they can’t follow the basics in court, why hand them the keys again?
