23,000 Jobs Lost. Who’s Running This?
The clock is running to 2026.
The jobs engine just coughed.
NPR reports employers cut 23,000 jobs in July — a sign of a wilting labor market.
That means missed rent, delayed car fixes, shrinking grocery lists.
Basic systems are sputtering.
NPR also reports parents are still carrying their adult kids because the cost of living stays high.
The share of 25- to 34-year-olds living with parents has nearly doubled since 2005 to about 20%, according to the Urban Institute cited by NPR.
One analysis finds a third of under-35s live back at home, even though most work.
This is a competence test.
If leaders can’t keep the lights on for working people, what are we paying them for?
Instead of steady basics, Republican leadership keeps chasing fights and excuses.
They had one job.
Make work stable.
Keep families afloat.
Your paycheck should not be a cliff.
Your kid’s plan should not be moving back in at 30 because the adults in charge can’t run the basics.
We can change course in 2026.
Fire the chaos managers.
You do not have to become a Democrat. You do have to stop Republicans from finishing this.
Choose competence this time.
