In Tennessee, after a Supreme Court ruling gutted key Voting Rights Act protections, the legislature eliminated a majority-Black Memphis district and split those voters across three safe Republican seats. The Post shows turnout in Shelby County surged to its highest level in a decade. They narrow the map, then narrow how you vote. Instead of fixing daily costs or wages, they pick fights over who gets to vote.
