The Supreme Court rejected Missouri’s Trump-backed map again. Your vote beat their power grab.
The Supreme Court rejected a Trump-backed Missouri congressional map for the third time.
When politicians lock in their seats, they stop fixing your rising bills, your kid’s school, and the potholes on your street.
NPR and AP reported the decision. The fight is simple. Who picks whom? Either politicians draw lines to protect their power, or voters choose leaders in real contests.
Fair maps mean fair choices.
Skewed districts warp politics. They also warp priorities. If a seat is safe by design, your call about grocery prices or hospital wait times gets shrugged off. Your family pays. They keep their job.
You do not need to be a Democrat to want honest maps. You only need to want your vote to matter more than a politician’s job security.
Missouri voters won this round because the court stopped a partisan map. But the people pushing it are not done. Trump-backed Republicans in Missouri tried again and again. They will try again because safe seats mean no pressure to deliver for you.
Tell the folks in power you want leaders who earn your trust in fair districts and show up on the basics: cost of living, schools, roads, health care. If they will not listen, replace them in 2026.
What will you do to make sure your concerns are heard?
Keep the lines fair. Make them compete. Make them work for you.
- Ask your county and state officials how they are drawing district lines and when you can weigh in
- Share this with a neighbor who thinks rigged maps don’t touch their wallet
- Vote in 2026 to replace the officials who drew lines to protect themselves
- Check your voter registration at Vote.gov
